Saint Patrick´s Music
As we have mentioned, the Saint Patrick´s day its a celebration that remembers the evangelization of the irish to the catholicism by the bishop of Armagh or best known Saint Patrick, this celebration have been celebrated for years in many parts of the world because of the irish migrants that had stablished in many places as the United States, one of the principal country that have received irish migrants since the colonization so thats the reason of why that country celebrate that day, that fact have helped to spread the celebration and make popular the irish simbols through the world by the media as movies or tv series as a form to have comercial advantages giving rise an image that we know to that celebration as the green color, the elves or lucky things, but theres something that we dont found.
Where´s the music? in movies or cartons we have heard traditionally irish music as the irish folk where uses many kinds of instruments like the Bodhràn, flutes, drums and any others celtic intruments, the celtic melodies with lyrics beer culture, bars, employers and employees, in the background of everyday reality influenced that country the booming for fighting for their rights and freedoms to oppression, thats the irish folk but we still lacking a Saint Patrick´s Music, there´s no typical song that represents or defined that celebration so that provokes the raise of many bands to create a song that could encourage the party and make funny the celebration.
The Rumjacks “An Irish Pub”
I have chose the song "An Irish Pub" because it mix the irish folk rythm with a rock style making it interesting, energetic and funky, it has an enimagtic and harmonious entry with a flute and a type of thiner drum and a kind of guitar so in the begginig and in some parts the song is unplugged then the drums and the guitar start, this song is good for dancing or to enjoy while you were eating, this song describes in 3:23 minutes the principal characteristic of the saint patricks day, it describes a casual party envolved in a beer environment and a life of fisher that the only important think is to enjoy the irish pub, it has a style like the rap so its dificult to sing in the same speed and it has a little flitch of alternative music, this song is amusing and cheerful, you can feel like throwing your shoes to the air and dancing barefoot, that song incites a crazy environment ! Beer and beef the important to celebrate. Lately Ireland sounds even more familiar than before. I like very much because is rock, i like rock and that makes that this celebration became different from others, this music makes the celebration funny and exciting, the group preseres the traditional features and glint without losing Irish style.
